Your wardrobe, wherever you are

Virtual personal styling

A virtual personal stylist helps you decide what to keep, how to wear it and what is missing—remotely, using your existing wardrobe and the life you dress for.

For busy professionals balancing different dress codes, and travelers who want to pack outfits rather than unrelated pieces. Start with what you own; a new wardrobe is not a prerequisite.

For clients in the US. Agree the work, total fee, format, timing and cancellation/refund terms before booking. An enquiry does not reserve an appointment.

How remote styling works

Brief first.
Decisions next.

  1. Tell us what is not working

Share the moments that are difficult to dress for: a packed workweek, a changing role or an upcoming trip. Include your priorities and spending comfort rather than trying to diagnose your style in advance.

  2. Agree the scope and format

We reply by email to establish the wardrobe areas, deliverables and support period. Agree the total fee, format, timing and cancellation/refund terms before booking; any color-analysis needs are considered separately for the right format.

  3. Edit, combine and identify gaps

Review the agreed pieces, build repeatable outfit formulas and distinguish a useful addition from a duplicate. Your current clothes, proportions, color direction and day-to-day needs guide the decisions.

Before we begin

Bring the context.
Not a perfect closet.

There is no need to shop or clear everything out first. These details help make the brief useful.

Your existing clothes
Note favorites, rarely worn items and combinations you struggle with. Share clothing or outfit photos if you are comfortable; what is needed and how to share it will be agreed with you.
Your real schedule
Describe a typical week, dress codes, upcoming events and any deadlines. For a trip, include the itinerary and how much walking or time in transit to expect.
Your budget and preferences
Separate the styling budget from any clothing budget. Include comfort needs, fit frustrations, preferred coverage and anything you do not want to wear.
Your destination
Share the trip climate, season and expected weather, not just the city name. A warm conference room and a wet commute may need different layers.

Illustrative wardrobe worksheet · not a client case study

Three days away.
Six pieces, with a purpose.

A hypothetical work trip shows how the decisions connect. This is a demonstration of the method, not a testimonial, a client result or a palette recommendation for everyone.

The brief

Assume: mild weather with possible rain; business-casual meetings; a relaxed dinner that permits denim; and comfortable, office-appropriate shoes already owned. Not a formal-suit itinerary, extreme cold or sustained outdoor rain.

The six clothing pieces

  1. Navy blazer

Adds structure for meetings; works with either bottom.

  2. Ivory shirt

The more formal top, with room to move under the blazer.

  3. Knit top

A comfortable travel layer that also works for a relaxed dinner.

  4. Charcoal trousers

The workday base; check comfort when sitting as well as standing.

  5. Dark straight-leg jeans

For travel and a dinner where denim is welcome.

  6. Lightweight rain layer

For mild, wet weather; it must fit over the blazer.

Plus: one pair of comfortable, office-appropriate shoes, worn with every combination below. Underwear, sleepwear and personal essentials sit outside this six-piece outfit exercise.

Put the pieces to work

  1. Day 1 / Travel

Knit top + dark straight-leg jeans + comfortable shoes

Add the lightweight rain layer outdoors if needed. This keeps the shirt fresh for the meeting and puts comfort first in transit.

  2. Day 2 / Meeting

Ivory shirt + charcoal trousers + navy blazer + comfortable shoes

The blazer gives the outfit structure; the shirt distinguishes it from the travel look. Add the rain layer for a wet walk between venues.

  3. Day 2 / Relaxed dinner

Knit top + dark straight-leg jeans + navy blazer + comfortable shoes

Rewear the travel base if it is fresh. The blazer makes it more considered without adding a dinner-only piece; denim depends on the venue's dress code.

  4. Day 3 / Work, then return

Ivory shirt + charcoal trousers + navy blazer + comfortable shoes

Repeat the meeting formula if the shirt can be refreshed. Remove the blazer in transit and use the rain layer outdoors as needed. Repeating an outfit is part of the plan, not a packing failure.

Why these pieces?

Navy and charcoal connect both bottoms to the blazer; ivory provides contrast. A shirt and a knit create different levels of formality. These are hypothetical color choices, not a personal color diagnosis. Check the actual garments together: fabric weight, layer length and ease of movement matter as much as their names.

What would change the plan?

It assumes tops can be aired or laundered as needed. Without that option, take another top from your own wardrobe. If your shoes cannot handle both the walking and the dress code, that is a conditional shopping gap—not a reason to replace all six pieces. Check existing options before buying.

Within the agreed wardrobe edit

  • Direction on which existing pieces serve your needs, which combinations to try and what needs a closer look.
  • Repeatable outfit formulas connected to your schedule, rather than a list of disconnected items.
  • A prioritized shopping-gap plan, guided by what is missing and your clothing budget.

What remote guidance does not replace

It cannot physically assess fit, feel a fabric or test your movement in a garment. You will need to try things on and judge comfort; alterations may require an in-person fitting. Clothing, tailoring and other purchases are not included in the styling fee.

Photo exposure, lighting and screen settings can shift how colors appear. Virtual color direction is not a promise of definitive color analysis or an exact seasonal palette. The appropriate color-analysis format is confirmed from your brief.

The expertise behind the decisions

Color knowledge.
Wardrobe context.

Our styling approach pairs color analysis with a practical wardrobe edit. Palette and proportion guide which clothes work together; your schedule, comfort and budget guide what belongs in the plan.

A color that works in isolation is only one part of an outfit. We also consider how a top sits with a jacket, whether a trouser shape works with your shoes and whether the whole combination makes sense for the day ahead.

The worksheet above makes that reasoning visible. It demonstrates a way to think about a wardrobe—not evidence of an individual client's experience.

Practical questions

Before you enquire.

What does a virtual wardrobe edit cover?

We review the wardrobe areas agreed in your brief: how current pieces serve your work, travel or everyday needs, which outfits to build and where a genuine gap remains. It does not mean every item in your closet is automatically included, and it is not a physical fit assessment. Scope and format are confirmed first.

How much does it cost, and are clothes included?

The Wardrobe Reset starts at $795 USD. The fee covers the agreed styling work; clothing, tailoring and other purchases are separate. Your scope and total fee are agreed before booking.

Can you determine my exact colors virtually?

Photos and screens can be useful for discussion, but lighting, exposure and display settings affect color judgment. We do not promise a definitive remote color analysis or exact seasonal palette from photos. We confirm the appropriate format for your color-analysis needs after reviewing your brief.

Do I have to start from scratch?

No. Start with the clothes you already own, including pieces you like but struggle to combine. The edit looks for useful combinations before recommending purchases. You do not need to arrive with a polished wardrobe, a style label or a shopping list.
